Circuit Snake strategy: keep an escape route as the circuit grows

Plan safe turns, understand the speed increases and avoid trapping your growing trail.

Read the route before turning

Your circuit moves continuously on a bordered grid. Energy makes it longer, so the shortest route to a pickup is not always the safest. Look beyond the next turn and keep a way out of the area you are entering. A wide open route is easier to repair than a narrow pocket.

Keep your turns deliberate

Use arrows, WASD, the direction pad or a swipe. A direct reversal into your own trail is ignored. Make a right-angle turn first if you need to come back around. On a phone, lift your finger between swipes so each new direction is deliberate.

Prepare for the fourth pickup

Every four energy pickups increase the speed. Plan the next route before collecting the pickup that advances the level. If the trail is close behind, make more space first. Collecting energy increases both length and score; it also changes how much room your next turn needs.

Use the boundary without hitting it

Following a broad perimeter can buy time and make the trail easier to read. Turn before the border instead of waiting until the head touches it. Re-enter the middle when there is enough space to reach the pickup and leave again. A wall or trail collision ends the round.

Compare the same daily starting point

Ranked daily scores use a common starting seed, while all-time scores may come from different days. Practice does not need an account. A saved ranked result can be shared as a target for a friend; older dates are clearly labeled practice so they do not enter today’s board.
