Neon Stack strategy: combine falling blocks and color matches
Use the landing outline, leave room to rotate and choose between full rows and three-color clears.
PLAY A FREE ROUND ↗Plan for two kinds of clear
Neon Stack rewards both a complete horizontal row and three equal colors in a horizontal or vertical line. A piece that does not complete a row can still create a color match. Check the colors on the falling shape and the exposed edges of the stack before choosing its landing.
Use the landing outline
The outline shows where a hard drop will land. Move and rotate before pressing Space or Drop. Hard drops earn points for the distance traveled, but dropping quickly into a bad gap can end the round. Leave a few useful landing areas instead of building one tall central tower.
Give cascades somewhere to go
Color matches disappear and the remaining cells settle down their columns. A small color clear can therefore set up another match. Full rows score separately. One row is worth 200 points, two 500, three 900 and four 1,500 before other clears and combo bonuses.
Keep consecutive pieces useful
Consecutive pieces that clear something build the combo. A piece with no clear resets it. Do not chase a difficult combo at the cost of blocking the top: surviving long enough to place more pieces gives you more chances to improve your score. The next-piece preview helps with that choice.
Practice, then make a ranked attempt
The same game receives the same starting seed for every player on a UTC day. Practice is available immediately. Sign in before starting a round if you want it recorded on the public board. Pause stops the round clock, but a ranked round must finish saving within 30 minutes of its start.
