Prism Pop strategy: laser gems, bombs and Supernova
Learn how to make special gems, chain their blasts and spend a charged Supernova on a better target.
PLAY A FREE ROUND ↗Look for a power before a quick three
Before swapping, scan for a row of four, a line of five, or two matching lines that meet. Four creates a laser gem: a horizontal match makes a row laser, and a vertical match makes a column laser. An intersecting T or L creates a bomb. A line of five creates a color prism. These pieces turn a small match into a much larger clear.
Build a chain reaction
Swap a special gem with a neighbor to fire it, or catch it in another clear. A laser clears its row or column. A bomb clears the surrounding 3-by-3 area. A color prism clears gems matching its swap partner; two prisms clear the board. A blast that reaches another special activates it in the same wave. Place specials where their paths can connect.
Choose your Supernova target
Cleared gems charge the meter. At 100%, press Supernova or N, then choose a gem. The blast clears its row, column and neighboring gems, and starts six seconds of double points. Aim through existing specials so the initial blast triggers more of the board. The clock keeps running while you aim.
Let the board finish falling
Every refill can make another match. Later cascade waves multiply their points, so watch the falling gems before choosing the next swap. Inputs are locked briefly while a chain resolves. Use Find a match or H if you lose the pattern. Invalid swaps bounce back without points.
Challenge someone fairly
Share the result at the end of a round. The link includes the day, rules and target score. Today’s board supports ranked play after passkey sign-in. Links remain playable for thirty days. Older boards open as practice challenges, keeping the daily leaderboard tied to today’s seed. A challenge target is an invitation; the public board is the record of saved scores.
