NEON BOROUGH

THE OBJECTIVE

Turn a riverside plot into a thriving city over 36 months. Connect roads, power homes and businesses, balance jobs and parks, and choose when to advance the month. Higher taxes fund construction but make residents unhappy. Your population and happiness earn the score.

HOW TO SCORE

• Select a construction tool, then click or tap a tile. Connect roads to the marked entrance at the bottom. Homes, jobs, power plants and services need an adjacent connected road.
• Homes need power and jobs to attract residents. Parks and clinics raise happiness; factories provide jobs but lower happiness. The yellow dot means a building has no connected road.
• Advance the month when ready. Taxes and businesses provide income, while roads and services cost upkeep. Tax settings 1, 2 and 3 trade income for happiness. A regional grant arrives every six months.
• The charter lasts 36 months. Population × happiness and positive monthly income earn points; remaining funds and population add a completion bonus. Clearing refunds half the original base cost. End & save banks an unfinished charter.

Controller: D-pad moves cursor · A / × builds · B / ○ advances month · X / □ and Y / △ tools · LB / L1 taxes. Start / Options pauses or resumes. Release held controls after pausing.

Use a controller with a standard browser mapping. Press and release a button to connect; A / × or Start plays. Keyboard and mouse remain available.

P / Escape pauses the game. Switching tabs or windows pauses automatically. Rounds start, and resume, after a 3-2-1 countdown.

The daily starting seed resets at 00:00 UTC. Pausing stops the game; End & save on the pause screen banks an endless run. Ranked rounds must finish saving within 2 hours of starting.
